Mr Manhole

The manhole chimney section is 10 percent of the manhole structure but is responsible for 50 percent of the leakage. Eliminating the groundwater inflow will result in large savings for our water authorities from greatly reduced water treatment costs.

The fully engineered Mr. Manhole system is the World’s First Standardized System for replacing/repairing manhole chimney sections. We are excited about the quality and speed of the Mr. Manhole repair. The system addresses two major issues facing municipalities today – the leakage problem and the bump or structural problem. With the Mr. Manhole System the leak is eliminated and the repair is always level with the road, eliminating the bump. With repairs being completed in just hours the labour savings, combined with material savings and increased worker safety, makes the Mr. Manhole System the smart choice.

The Mr. Manhole tools can quickly cut and remove a manhole frame and lid down to the cone level and rebuild it level with the height and slope of the road, guaranteed not to leak with a 20-year design life. The system works on a skid steer and uses a plastic, stay-in-place form to prevent water and gas from deteriorating the cast-in-place, epoxy-coated, re-rod, reinforced concrete collar. The attachment works off an auger drive to spin and cut through asphalt and concrete, removing the manhole casting and road over-cut in just minutes.

These cutting edge technologies will allow the life of Australia’s infrastructure to be extended in a cost effective non-disruptive fashion. Mr Manhole Australia & Geelong Waterproofing are constantly researching new and innovative ways to utilise the latest products and techniques on the market.

How does the Mr Manhole System Work?

The Six Shooter is used to cut and remove the manhole frame and surrounding road material without costly and dangerous physical labour.

The repair begins with the Mr. Manhole liner being placed on the manhole cone.

The Mr. Manhole Ring Saw Tool is used to cut the liner to the exact height and slope of the road.

The sealants are applied and the frame is placed on the liner.
Ready mixed concrete is poured and dyed black to match the surrounding asphalt completing the repair.

Today our commitment to reliability, quality and complete customer satisfaction remains our strongest asset.
